Help support the arts in Bay Area Schools!

Your support is essential to the success of Leap…imagination in learning! In light of the scarcity of arts education programs in local schools, each contribution will help ensure that San Francisco children and youth receive valuable hands-on arts instruction that helps to promote positive youth development and supports their overall academic and personal success.

Listed below is an approximation of what your donation can contribute to:

$35 Funds bus tickets for a field trip to a performance
$50 Model-making supplies for one class
$100 Props and costumes for 33 children
$250 Art supplies for three classrooms (approximately 100 children)
$550 Training of 16 artists in Leap’s model of curriculum integration
$1,000 Teacher training workshops in eight Leap schools
$1,600 One Architect in Schools residency to one class that meets once a week for eight weeks/Average per child investment: $87

All gifts to Leap are fully tax deductible as determined by US income tax law.

California Arts License Plate
Over 60 percent of the California Arts Council’s budget coming from sales and renewals of the Arts License Plate – funding that is in turn used for arts programming on the local level for kids and communities. Hundreds of arts lovers throughout the state show off their support of California arts by promoting the California Arts License Plate.
